Schools and The Little Victory Ball
We can provide WWI 'activity packs' based on the ages of the children, which can be accessed prior to our visit if necessary.
Participation is key to the success of the show and children will be encouraged to join in with songs from the period.
We provide a cross-curricular experience, providing learning of:
History - of course - as World War I study is already compulsory for many year groups.
English Literature - the War Poets and use of oral histories.
Appreciation of Drama - through this both deeply moving and funny account of women on the Home Front.
Music- we will provide lyrics of songs from the period and encourage participation.
An interactive First World War event that vividly explains how Remembrance has come to mean so much, and how this Centenary has relevance for
The Little Victory Ball makes it easy...
We come to the school, fully equipped with everything needed to stage the WW1 commemorative event.
We park the museum, erect the theatre in the school hall – and the show is ready.
All we need is good access, space to perform, electricity and a flat surface.
We can stay for as long as is needed - 1, 2, 3 or even 4 days, depending on the size of the school and the numbers of children to be involved.
The cost is dependent on your specific requirements and we offer several packages, please call us to discuss what will be the best for your event.
